Pitt QB Kenny Pickett breaks Dan Marino’s career TD record

Pitt quarterback Kenny Pickett is putting together a Heisman-worthy season in 2021, and he’s sending his NFL draft stock through the roof along the way.

Though his Panthers fell short Saturday in an upset road loss to Miami, Pickett still put up huge numbers, and managed to make some school history, as well.

Pickett threw for 519 yards and three touchdowns, breaking Dan Marino’s career touchdown record at Pitt.

Though he was somewhat of an afterthought in this year’s quarterback class, Pickett has made the most of a wide-open race to be the top passer selected in the 2022 NFL draft.
