Pitcher Caught Dropping Huge F-Bomb After Shohei Ohtani Hits Wild Home Run

Angels designated hitter and pitcher Shohei Ohtani has definitely demonstrated an ability to elicit f-bombs from fans—out of wonder, delight or disgust for your favorite team’s demise.

However, getting an f-bomb out of an opponent is something else altogether.

In the fifth inning of Los Angeles’s 7–4 loss to the Rockies Friday evening in Denver, Ohtani launched a 434-foot home run to right center off of a pitch well inside to stake the Angels to a 3–2 lead.

As Ohtani rounded the bases, Colorado pitcher Kyle Freeland was shown gazing at the home run ball in awe, appearing to wonder aloud, "How the f--- did you hit that?"

Freeland then gave up a home run to the next batter, center fielder Mike Trout.

After the game, Freeland showered praise on Ohtani after his MLB-leading 25th home run of the season.

"The pitch that Ohtani hit is a pitch that there’s only one human being on this planet that has any business swinging at that pitch," Freeland told reporters, "and that’s him.”
