Pistons fall to Grizzlies, will finish season below .500

MEMPHIS, Tenn. _ At one point in the fourth quarter, Stan Van Gundy stood up and begged the Detroit Pistons for just one stop.

He didn't get it.

The Detroit Pistons coach watched the Memphis Grizzlies shoot 57.8 percent on the way to a 130-117 victory at the FedEx Forum on Sunday afternoon.

The Grizzlies scored more than 30 points in each quarter.

The Pistons (38-42) set a franchise record with 23 made 3-pointers (23-for-47), but the Pistons are guaranteed to finish below .500 for the ninth time in 10 seasons.

Seven Pistons scored in double figures with Anthony Tolliver leading the way with 19 points.

Reggie Jackson finished with 13 points, but was only 2-for-9 from the field. He didn't play in the fourth quarter in his 10th game back since returning from the severe right ankle sprain that cost him 37 games. The Pistons fell to 7-3 since he returned.

Andre Drummond added 12 points and 18 rebounds.

Blake Griffin (right ankle bruise) missed his sixth consecutive game.

MarShon Brooks scored 25 points for the woeful Grizzlies (22-58).
