TORONTO _ The Detroit Pistons could only manage 10 points in the final 7:28 on the way to a 96-91 loss to the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday night.
After Andre Drummond's layup gave the Pistons (22-21) an 81-80 lead, but they failed repeatedly to get good looks at the basket.
After a slow start, Drummond finished with 25 points and 16 rebounds, but the Pistons moved to 3-7 since point guard Reggie Jackson went down with a severely sprained right ankle on Dec. 26.
Jackson's replacement, Ish Smith, suffered through a nightmarish shooting night, going 1 for 12 from the field in scoring three points.
C.J. Miles scored 21 points off the Raptors' bench. DeMar DeRozan added 17 points and Kyle Lowry had 18 points, eight rebounds and five assists.
Jonas Valanciunas added 17 points and 16 rebounds for the Raptors (30-13).
Avery Bradley added 19 points for the Pistons, but committed four turnovers.
The Pistons claimed road victories earlier this season at Golden State, Boston, Oklahoma City and Minnesota.
