ORLANDO, Fla. _ The Detroit Pistons led by four in the fourth quarter against the Orlando Magic when Blake Griffin and Andre Drummond re-entered at the game with just over 6 minutes remaining.
The Pistons could only manage seven more points over the next 11 minutes in a 115-106 overtime loss which further damages their dwindling playoff hopes.
Even Fournier scored seven of 17 points in overtime to snap the Magic's seven-game losing streak.
The Pistons (29-33) could only manage two Anthony Tolliver free throws in overtime as they fell to three games behind the Miami Heat for the Eastern Conference's eighth and final playoff spot.
The Pistons face the Heat on Saturday night in Miami, the second game of a three-game trip.
The Pistons have one road victory since Jan. 1.
James Ennis and Reggie Bullock scored 21 points each, but Griffin struggled once again scoring.
He was 5 for 14 from the field for 12 points as his Magic counterpart, Aaron Gordon, scored 27 points.
Griffin did grab 10 rebounds and handed out nine assists.
Drummond scored 10 points and grabbed 15 rebounds, but he was 0 for 4 from the free-throw line in the fourth quarter. As a team, the Pistons were 14 for 24 from the line.
The Pistons are 1-4 since the All-Star break.
Former Piston D.J. Augustin scored 20 points and handed out nine assists for the Magic.
The score was 97-93 when Drummond and Griffin returned to the game in the fourth quarter.
The Pistons took a 100-93 lead at the 4:51 mark of the fourth quarter on a Griffin free throw.
But the Pistons went 0 for 6 and missed three free throws over the next stretch.
The Magic went on an 8-0 run and had a 101-100 lead with 1:58 remaining.
Bullock made two free throws to give the Pistons a 102-101 lead with 1:50 remaining.
Evan Fournier nailed a 3-pointer with 47.7 seconds left to give the Magic a 104-102 lead.
Drummond missed a jump hook and the Magic tried to seal the win.
But Griffin grabbed the rebound and found Ennis alone in the frontcourt for a dunk that tied the game with 7.2 second remaining.
Drummond forced a Nikola Vucevic turnover with 0.4 seconds left, but the Pistons failed to get a shot off, forcing overtime.
Drummond controlled the boards in the first half, grabbing 12 rebounds in helping the Pistons to a six-rebound advantage (24-18).
His shot attempts have been up since the acquisition of Griffin, but he didn't get many opportunities early in the game.
But his teammates started finding him late in the half as he scored six points in the last 3:46.
He scored eight points on 4-for-6 shooting in the first half.
The Pistons committed three backcourt turnovers in the first half.
The first two happened because of Drummond carelessness.
He corralled two rebounds, but he brought the ball down below his waist, making it easy for guards to take the ball away.
The third came when Bullock traveled when trying to get the ball to point guard Ish Smith.
