WASHINGTON _ The Detroit Pistons just might make the list of must-watch teams on NBA League Pass.
Trailing the Washington Wizards by 15 points midway through the fourth quarter and Andre Drummond on the Pistons bench with six fouls, the Pistons looked dead Friday night.
But Reggie Jackson keyed a 21-4 run as the Pistons took a two-point lead on an Avery Bradley tip-in.
The Wizards regained control late, but Jackson had a final shot. He drove to the basket, but John Wall blocked the shot to preserve the 115-111 victory for the Wizards, one of the Eastern Conference powers.
Jackson scored 21 points and Bradley finished with 18 points.
Otto Porter led the Wizards (2-0) with 28 points. Wall added 26 points and Bradley Beal 25 points.
The Wizards forced 13 turnovers against the Pistons (1-1) in the first half.
Pistons rookie Luke Kennard knocked down the first four shots of his career in his debut, scoring 11 points in the first half. He finished with those 11 points on 5-for-8 shooting with three assists in 19 minutes.
After a historic 0-for-13 shooting performance in Wednesday night's season-opening victory over the Charlotte Hornets, Stanley Johnson scored the Pistons' first basket of the game on a three-pointer. He finished 3 for 3 from the field to score 10 points.
