PITTSBURGH — The Pirates’ game Friday against the Colorado Rockies has been postponed and will be made up as part of a split doubleheader on Saturday.
The first game at PNC Park will start at 12:05 p.m. The second will begin at 4:05 p.m. or approximately one hour after the conclusion of the first contest. Both games will last seven innings.
Tickets for Friday’s game will be valid for the 12:05 p.m. game or any remaining home game during the 2021 season, subject to availability.
The Pirates did not announce any pitching plans for the two games; however, Mitch Keller was supposed to start Friday and JT Brubaker on Saturday. It’s likely those will hold.
The Pirates (18-31) are looking to snap a six-game losing streak after the Cubs recently swept them in a three-game set.
