Pippa O’Connor reveals why she never wants to be known as a ‘boss bitch’

Model turned businesswoman Pippa O’Connor opened up on mom guilt and revealed why she never wants to be known as a ‘boss bitch’ in the industry.

She’s taken the social media world by storm over the past decade, and currently boasts over 400k followers on Instagram alone.

But, behind the screen, the former Irish model, who is mum to two boys, Ollie, eight, Louis, four, with former telly star Brian Ormond, is busy running three businesses

- Fashion brand, Poco by Pippa, candle line, The Pippa Collection, and her newest launch, makeup brand, Up Cosmetics.

And Pippa, who’s social tagline reads ‘Busy trying to juggle it all’ admitted it hasn’t always been easy to find the balance between home and her career.

“At the start it was especially hard as the boys were so young ,” she told her followers this week.

“Louis was only five months old when POCO launched.”

“We all worked around the clock. I was ok with that though obviously as I wanted the business to be successful.”

The 36-year-old added: “It’s still a big juggle but it’s like a well oiled machine now and everyone on the team does their job so well it’s not so manic now (or maybe I’m used to manic!)”

Meanwhile, asked how she would describe herself in business, Pippa opened up on why she never wants to become or be known as a ‘boss bitch’, a term often used in the industry amongst female businesswomen.

She said: “It’s hard to describe yourself sometimes but I think I have very high expectations and do things to the best of my ability.

“I’m a perfectionist and want everything perfect.

“I’m soft in my approach to everything and everyone.

“I hate this idea of having to be a ‘boss bitch’ to get things done.

“Nobody wants to be around that.”
