Pippa Middleton welcomes first child with husband James Matthews

It's a double dose of diaper duty for the royal family.

Pippa Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton's younger sister, welcomed her first child, an 8-lb., 9-oz. baby boy, with husband James Matthews Monday, according to People.

"Everyone is delighted and mother and baby are doing well," the family said in a statement.

The baby news comes one day after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced they were expecting their first child together.

Middleton, 35, was spotted Monday entering the Lindo Wing at St. Mary's Hospital in London, the same location Kate gave birth to her and Prince William's three children.

She and Matthews tied the knot in May 2017 after a yearlong engagement, and the happy couple confirmed they were expecting in June.

Middleton detailed her pregnancy in a weekly column in a British magazine, and noted that she did not suffer the same severe morning sickness that Kate did.

The bundle of joy is just the latest to join the royal family and royal family-adjacent.

William and Kate welcomed their third child, Prince Louis, in April.

Markle's pregnancy, meanwhile, was announced Monday morning in a statement from Kensington Palace.

"Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019," the statement read.

"Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public."
