British socialite Pippa Middleton Matthews gave birth to a daughter Monday and named her Grace Elizabeth Jane. Celebrity magazine People reports the little girl arrived at 4:22 a.m. and weighs 6 pounds, 7 ounces.
Grace shares a middle name with her royal aunt Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, who was born Catherine Elizabeth Middleton. Pippa, 37, is Kate’s younger sister. She is also the mother of a 2-year-old boy named Arthur, who was born in October 2018. The babies’ father is 45-year-old James Matthews, who was a race car driver. The couple married in 2017.
Pippa is described on social media as a “socialite, author and columnist.” She gained international attention in 2011 when photos of her serving as her sister’s maid of honor at her wedding to Prince William were well received.
