Pippa Middleton and her husband James Matthew are expecting their second child, her mother has revealed.
According to an interview with Good Housekeeping, Carole Middleton said Pippa's first child Arthur is soon to have a little brother or sister.
Carole, 66, described herself as a "very hands-on" grandma as she said she hopes to get more time with her beloved grandchildren as Covid-19 restrictions start to relax.
She and husband Michael are grandparents to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's three children Prince George, Charlotte, Louis, and Pippa's first child Arthur.
Carole said: "I hope to see more of my family than I could last year, including, of course, my new grandchild.
"I want to run down the hills, climb the trees, and go through the tunnel at the playground.
"As long as I am able to, that's what I'll be doing. I cook with them, I muck around dancing, we go on bike rides."
There had been speculation Pippa and James were expecting their second child after a source close to the family reported so - but it had yet to be confirmed.
"It’s fantastic news amid a difficult year. The entire family is delighted," the source told Page 6 at the time.
The couple, however, declined to comment on reports published by the New York publication.
The baby will be another cousin for Kate Middleton and Prince William's royal children.
Prince George is now 7, Princess Charlotte is 5, and Prince Louis is aged two.
Pippa and James are also reportedly looking for a new home closer to mum Carole's property in Berkshire.
Pippa Middleton married banking tycoon James Matthews in May 2017.
The two got married at their local St Mark’s Church in Englefield, Berkshire.
Their first child Arthur was born on Monday October 15 at 1.58pm, weighing 8lb and 9oz.
Pippa gave birth to the baby boy at the Lindo Wing in Paddington, London, where sister Kate's three children were all delivered.
