Pinter at the Pinter: First look at Danny Dyer and Martin Freeman on stage in West End

The first images of Danny Dyer on stage as part of the Pinter at the Pinter season have been released.

Dyer, who worked with Pinter on a number of occasions , will star alongsider Martin Freeman in the seventh instalment of Jamie Lloyd’s season of short Pinter plays.

The duo will perform The Dumb Waiter, a one-act play about two hitmen awaiting their next job. It will be performed alongside A Slight Ache, about a couple whose lives are changed when a mysterious figure enters their home.

The latter will star Game of Thrones actress Gemma Whelan and John Heffernan, who recently appeared in James Graham’s Brexit: An Uncivil War. Both plays will be directed by Lloyd.

The Pinter at the Pinter season began last September, marking ten years since the Nobel Prize-winning playwright died. It will culmninate next month with a major revival of Betrayal , starring Tom Hiddleston, Zawe Ashton and Charlie Cox.

Pinter Seven runs from January 31 to February 23.
