The NFL scored another big-name performer for next month's Super Bowl LII.
Pop star Pink is set to sing the national anthem ahead of the Feb. 4 title game at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, the NFL announced Monday.
She takes the stage a year after Luke Bryan performed "The Star-Spangled Banner" before the big game last February. Lady Gaga, Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera and Carrie Underwood are among the other entertainers to recently perform the national anthem at the Super Bowl.
Monday's announcement comes nearly three months after the NFL confirmed Justin Timberlake is returning to headline the Super Bowl halftime show _ 14 years after he infamously tore away a portion of Janet Jackson's top on the Super Bowl stage in an incident now referred to as "Nipplegate."
Timberlake, 36, has assured there won't be a similar occurrence this year.
"That won't happen this time," Timberlake said with a laugh to Mike Tirico during an October broadcast of "Sunday Night Football" on NBC, the network airing the Super Bowl this year.
Both Timberlake and Pink will have recently released new albums in time for next month's Super Bowl. Pink dropped her latest, "Beautiful Trauma," in October, while Timberlake is set to unveil his newest record, "Man of the Woods," on Feb. 2.
The NFL playoffs kicked off this past weekend, with the Titans narrowly edging the Chiefs, the Falcons soaring over the Rams, the Jaguars topping the Bills and the Saints beating the Panthers.
