
American singer and songwriter Pink Sweat$ will be performing a string of his sweet R&B songs in front of Thai fans during the "Pink Sweat$ Presents Pink Moon Live In Bangkok" at Muangthai Rachadalai Theatre, 4th floor of the Esplanade, Ratchadaphisek Road, on Sept 30 at 8pm.
Hailed as one of the genre's brightest young stars, the 30-year-old singer is reputed for his stripped-back style of music that is rooted in classic R&B and soul.
Born David Bowden in Philadelphia, he got his stage name Pink Sweat$ as he always wore pink sweatpants. He began his music career as a demo singer at the age of 19.
After working behind the scenes for seven years, he released his first single Honesty which gained attention on streaming platforms, and his second single No Replacing You in 2018. His debut solo mini album Volume 1 was released later in the same year and it received worldwide attention and recognition from esteemed media outlets including The New York Times, Rolling Stone, Billboard and Fader.
The upcoming breakout show is part of his Asian tour which will include stops at Manila, Singapore and Tokyo.
