Pink fan gives birth to gorgeous baby girl during first song at Anfield concert

A die-hard Pink fan gave birth to a gorgeous baby girl during the first song at the singer's Anfield concert.

Denise Jones was 36 weeks and five days pregnant when she arrived at Tuesday's gig before shockingly going into labour just before the first song.

The 32-year-old was quickly whisked away during the opening number of Get The Party Started and gave birth just four minutes after Pink took to the stage.

Paramedics were astounded by just how quickly Denise, from Huyton , gave birth to the little girl who has now been given the most fitting name - Dolly Pink.

Speaking to the ECHO from a bed at the Women's Hospital , Denise jokingly said: "I'm still massively in shock, just a bit gutted I missed the concert.

"But I couldn't be any happier right now!"

Beautiful Dolly Pink weighed 6lb 4.5oz at the time of the surprising birth inside Anfield but thankfully both mum and baby are healthy and happy and being well looked after.

Denise, who attended the concert with her niece and friends, added: "The plan was to call her Dolly Louise but since she was born in the concert we've changed it to Dolly Pink.

"It all went very fast but the paramedics were amazing and were so happy themselves that both of them were healthy."

Tweeting about Denise and Dolly Pink, LFC crowd doctor @danithedoc, said: "Wow. @DrJohnMat8 and I just delivered a healthy baby girl at Anfield at the Pink gig.

"Thank you for your help @NWAmb_PaulT @NwambG @NWAmbulance Amazing! #notjustagp #pinkforagirl"

Denise's niece Chloe told the ECHO that the family are now looking forward to getting Dolly Pink home to her brothers and sister, Christopher 5, Bobby 3, Myah 1.

She tweeted: "Baby Dolly Pink Born at Anfield Whilst watching Pink concert!

"Mum and Baby are doing Amazing, thank you to the amazing paramedics that delivered her!"
