Pink 'fair brightened up trip to the park' as mums spot her playing with kids in Glasgow sunshine

Superstar Pink 'lucked out' when she took her kids to a Glasgow park.

For not only did the American pop icon enjoy a bit of rare city sunshine, but her visit went largely unnoticed.

Pink is in Glasgow for two nights of her Beautiful Trauma tour.

And Glaswegians took to Twitter to speak of their pride at the singer left well alone to enjoy time with her children at the play park, Glasgow Live reports.

Mum Michelle Flynn wrote: "Saw Pink playing with her kid in a busy Glasgow playpark this afternoon.

"Most of the folk there knew who she was. Everyone left them to it.

"Felt really proud to be a Glaswegian today. Also, hanging out in a Glasgow playpark in the sun. Pink, hen, you lucked out!

"Fair brightened up a trip the park, that’s for sure. She told her little boy to be careful because my wee ones were on the trampoline. Didn’t realise who it was until I heard the American accent."

In agreement, Lynn replied: "Our folk know how to behave, most of the time lol. I'm glad the kids got a chance to play without their mum getting harassed."

Heather wrote: "Mon the Glasgow. Lovely to hear someone being able to just be a parent and not be hounded by folk?"

Nik added: "Love this about Glasgow - we appreciate folk but we respect them."

Pink set to play two nights in Glasgow and it will be her first show in Scotland since she got the party started at Hampden in 2010.

The hitmaker is performing at Hampden on both Saturday, June 22 and Sunday, June 23 as part of her Beautiful Trauma world tour.
