Pinewood studios boss 'should stand down'

A minority shareholder in Pinewood Shepperton, the studio responsible for films including the James Bond franchise, has called for chairman Michael Grade to stand down and for "fresh management" to lead the company.

The Crystal Amber Fund, which owns 18% of Pinewood, said board renewal is "essential" because "profits and return on capital [have fallen] by more than half in the six years since the business was floated in May 2004".
