A cook book that features 100 slimming home-style recipes, has broken records - and it was created by two friends from Wirral.
Selling 210,506 copies in its first week, Pinch of Nom broke the single week record in the non-fiction category by 45,044 books.
Pinch of Nom is the UK’s most popular food blog and it was created by a chef and a restaurateur from The Wirral – Kate Allinson and Kay Featherstone.
The aim for the blog was simple - to teach people how to cook. However, when Kate and Kay decided to lose weight, they began sharing healthy, slimming recipes that follow the rules of Slimming World and Weight Watchers.
Now, the Pinch of Nom book has gone on to sell 36% more copies in a single week than the next biggest cookery book single week sales - which was Jamie's Italy, back in 2005.
