For us, summer doesn’t really start until we’ve had our first Pimm’s of the season. Now just when you thought they couldn’t improve the iconic beverage, they just have with a new ‘Sundowner’ flavour that sounds dreamy.
The new Pimm's Sundowner is a delicious berry-flavoured twist on the classic Pimm’s. It’s a vibrant shade of coral pink, and boasts a fresh raspberry flavour which is perfectly balanced with tart redcurrant notes, delivering a bitter sweet tasting aperitif.
Bursting with fruity flavours, it is best served with Prosecco, soda and fresh raspberries as a Sundowner Spritz - how delightful does that sound?
Now the fruity tipple is currently available to purchase from Amazon for £16 as well as major supermarkets like Sainsbury's, where it's currently on offer for just £12 (down from £15) - until the 27th July. What a bargain, right?

Should you be visiting a pub garden over the weekend or in the near future, you can also purchase the summery beverage in selected bars such as Greene King Metro, Young's, Fuller's and Stonegate venues.

With parts of the UK expecting a heatwave this weekend, we’re pretty certain that this will be just what the hot weather ordered - and perfect to sip in the garden with family and friends.
The new launch comes as Sainsbury’s has released its new trends report, The Drinks Dispatch 2.0; Drink Pink, which explores just how much sales of pink beverages are currently booming. The report reveals the true scale at which Brits love to rosé all day - however, the question on everyone’s lips remains - why pink?
The research went on to find that pink-tinted alcohol keeps spirits high for almost half of millennials aged 25-34, with 49% saying that sipping on pink drinks actually puts them in a better mood.
Sales of pink drinks on the whole are on the up; rosé wine sales at Sainsbury’s are climbing by 26%, in comparison to sales of red wine (15%) and white wine (12%). What’s more, blush cider is seeing growth of 49% year-on-year, with sparkling rosé seeing a boost of 38% in comparison to just 5% of sparkling white wine sales.
Now should this new flavour sound a bit much for you, don’t panic as you can get a bottle of Pimm's Number 1 from Amazon for just £10 right now - so what are you waiting for?
Another flavour from Pimm’s that you might want to try this summer or over the weekend is the Pimm's Elderflower & Blackberry - priced at £29.99 from Amazon.
