They are about as infrequent as a Glasgow bus, but when they do happen, us Glaswegians sure seem to be spoiled by them.
Glasgow sunsets that is.
The type that has us all to a person with our heads out the window or scrambling for our phones to take some decent snaps to upload to our respective Insta feeds.
And we couldn't think of a more spectacular vantage point to soak one up than from high in the sky above the city on a helicopter.
Paul Swinton, a HEMS Paramedic with the Scottish Air Ambulance Service flying on Helimed 5 out of Glasgow Airport's ScotSTAR base, posted the video on Twitter alongside the caption: "Epic sunset coasting out to the north west of Glasgow".
The location of the video looks to be above the Erskine Bridge, with stunning views of the River Clyde below and the River Leven with Loch Lomond in the distance.
Definitely beats enjoying it from ground level!
