Pillow that stops your arm going numb launches - and it's tailor made for spooning

Those that like spooning will know that the comfy snuggling position also comes with a lot of trials and tribulations.

Whether you're the big or little spoon there's always the issue of where to put your arm to stop it getting pins and needles.

But now the solution is finally here, as a genius new pillow - called the Coodle - has been especially designed to solve the dreaded dead arm.

Being arc-shaped, the Coodle is perfect for comfortably slotting your arm underneath the pillow so it doesn't get squashed.

It's patented design is made from braces that are then surrounded by foam, so it's not only super comfy, but also keeps it shape during the spoon rather than slowly sinking back down onto the bed.

If you don't currently have a partner to spoon, the Coodle pillow could still be just as handy, also being ideal for side sleepers and those that like watching TV on their side whilst scrolling through their phone.

There's two sizes of the Coodle available, costing £51.41 ($65) or £38.76 ($49) and while the pillow is made in the US, it does ship the UK. As does Amazon, who also sell the Coodle pillow for $49, plus an extra $23.94 in shipping and import fees.

The invention is all down to a heart-warming backstory from makers Bob and Shirley that you can read on the Coodle website , who are now sharing the Coodle with the rest of the world.

Our only question is... how do we find a pillowcase that fits it?
