Piles of 'disgraceful' rubbish were dumped in a St Helens cemetery.
Community group St Helens Litter Heroes shared grim photos of the rubbish left outside Lowe House Church in a Facebook post.
The group found needles, soiled underwear, dirty duvets and pillows that were dumped on the cemetery grounds before being cleaned up by the group.

Volunteers also found needles and underwear dumped on Fenton Street and Albion Street in the town.
The post received several comments, with many residents voicing their disgust at the state the cemetery was left in.
One comment on the post said: "Could you get any more disrespectful? Shocking!"
While another local resident said: "What a disgrace."
St Helens Litter Heroes said it took two hours to clear all the rubbish, and that their volunteers filled six bags of litter.
A spokesperson for St. Helens Council told the ECHO: "We are also very grateful to the resident who undertook the litter picking, and to all like-minded people who dedicate their own time and energy to keeping the borough tidy.
“We carry out regular checks of problem areas to clear away such harmful waste, and we would strongly encourage members of the public to report it to us for swift disposal by our officers, rather than handling it themselves and risking injury.
“Report waste to us by calling 01744 676789 or visiting www.sthelens.gov.uk/reportaproblem.”
