Piers Morgan 'will star on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?' after ending Jeremy Clarkson feud

Piers Morgan will reportedly star in Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? after ending his feud with the show's host Jeremy Clarkson.

The Good Morning Britain presenter, 55, is being eyed up to be a contestant in this year's Christmas special, The Sun reports.

Back in 2004 the pair famously had a bust-up at The British Press Awards when Clarkson, 60, punched Piers, and it's also alleged that in 2004 he threw a drink over his rival on a Concorde flight.

But Piers revealed their feud had come to an end after a five-hour drinking session in a pub in the summer of 2014.

And now it's claimed that the two men will go head-to-head on WWTBAM.

Piers has apparently asked his GMB co-host Susanna Reid to be a Phone A Friend.

Bosses are also hoping that US President Donald Trump could also be called on to help, it's reported.

Piers appeared on WWTBAM in the 2006 Easter special alongside Ann Widdecombe.

Clarkson has reportedly been joking if Piers doesn't get to £32,000 "he will never live it down".

A source said: “Morgan and Clarkson squaring off on prime-time will be telly platinum.

"Piers relying on Jeremy for an answer with Ask The Host will be hilarious viewing.

"Piers has asked Susanna, a history buff, and Joan Collins, who has a wealth of general knowledge, to be Phone A Friends. But execs hope Donald might also get a call."

Mirror Online has contacted ITV and reps for Piers and Jeremy for comment.
