Piers Morgan vows revenge on celebs who have criticised him

Ex Good Morning Britain Host Piers Morgan has warned that he is watching those who criticise him, and is plotting revenge.

Morgan quit his job as host of the ITV breakfast show after his comments about the Meghan Markle interview spared more than 40,000 complaints.

But he has been vocal since leaving the show, refusing to back down or apologise.

Now he has spoken out at those who have criticised him.

Taking to social media, Piers said: "I never miss a thing. And revenge is always a dish best tasted cold."

He added: "Memo to all high-profile, insufferably woke, unctuously virtue-signalling, shamefully race-baiting hypocrites: I'm watching, and I will retaliate."

During his final GMB appearance last week, Piers had cast doubt on the veracity of a number of claims made during the interview, including that Meghan had struggled with suicidal thoughts.

He had even rowed with colleague Alex Beresford in scenes that saw him storm off the set, with Alex branding his behaviour "diabolical."

That evening ITV confirmed he would no longer be presenting the show, with his co-host of nearly six years, Susanna Reid, addressing his absence the next morning, reports The Mirror.
