Piers Morgan threatened to report a Good Morning Britain staff member following a disagreement.... over a tie.
The outspoken TV host was upset that he wasn't allowed to wear what he wanted, as his personal stylist told him it would clash with his co-host Susanna Reid.
Piers reports that GMB's stylist said: "You are not allowed to wear a pink tie".
He replied: "I said 'I want to wear a pink tie'."
She said: "No I'm sorry Susanna has decided she is wearing a green dress. You will now wear a green tie."
Telling viewers about the dispute, Piers continued: "So I have to wear this boring, horrible [tie] it's like someone has vomited down my shirt and I'm wearing the vomit because Debbie Dresses decided I had to wear vomit.
Susanna chipped in, saying: "Can I just say I had nothing to do with it."
But Piers interrupted saying: "I'm going to HR later, I'll join most of the rest of our team actually."
Susanna joked: "There's a long queue and I'm at the front of it."
