Piers Morgan takes a fall during Paddy Power's Golf Shootout - and Andrew Flintoff's reaction is hilarious

Golf stars and celebrities took part in golf-related challenges and games at Paddy Power’s Golf Shootout event on Friday.

And Piers Morgan produced the moment that everyone is talking about, although not one that he will want to see again.

After a positive morning’s work, in which he and partner Tommy Fleetwood were victorious in Part One of the Paddy Power Golf Shootout, he embarrassingly fell out of his chair, leaving rival Freddie Flintoff in stitches as he ran around hollering with laughter.

The blockbuster event features an all-star cast of golf pros and celebrity amateurs, including England football captain Harry Kane, who arrived directly from Tottenham training, Peter Crouch, who endured the misery of playing with a children’s set despite his 6-foot-7 frame, and Ryder Cup-winning captain, Paul McGinley.

Flintoff missed a putt to hand Morgan and Fleetwood the victory after the pair excelled at Golf Pong and Golfing Goals, with Morgan even impressing with several accurate shots.

The TV presenter was more than willing to let everyone know about his success. However, when it came to watching others swing, he was not so fortunate.

Returning to a high chair behind the tee, Morgan pulled himself up as he went to sit on top of the chair. His momentum pushed the chair backwards, swung it over its back leg and to the floor, leaving Morgan in a heap.

The entire moment was seen in the background of the camera, which was filming Carly Booth, who was stepping up to take her shot.

Flintoff, who was desperate for his revenge after missing the crucial putt, then lept out of his chair in celebration, running around before punching the air as his golf mate slumped to the floor.

Beforehand, McGinley had produced the best moment, racing down the course in tandem with Crouch, belying his age, and then breaking the world record in a putting challenge, edging out Fleetwood who had just set the benchmark moments before.
