Piers Morgan storms off Good Morning Britain after being slammed for treatment of Meghan Markle

This is the moment Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan STORMED OFF today's show in the wake of Oprah Winfrey's interview with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.

The couple sat down with Oprah on Monday night for a two hour interview on ITV - Piers has been vocal of his criticism of the pair, and today he argued with co-presenter Alex Beresford before huffing off the set.

The heated row took place at 6.38am and Piers eventually returned by 6.55am after Alex had called his behaviour towards Markle 'absolutely diabolical'.

"I understand that you do not like Meghan Markle and you have made it clear so many times - so many times on this programme," said Alex.

"And I understand you had a personal relationship with Meghan Markle and she cut you off. She is entitled to cut you off if she wants to.

"Has she said anything about you since she cut you off? Now, I do not think she has. But yet you continue to trash her."

"OK, I am done with this," Piers replied.

"No, no, no, that is pathetic," replied Alex. "Absolutely diabolical behaviour."

Piers added: "No. Sorry."

Piers later returned after storming off and returned to the set, putting forth his argument to weather presenter Alex, saying he was concerned about the pair's interview with Oprah and what it meant for The Queen, 94.

GMB continues to air each weekday at 6am.
