Hours after the celebrity elite paraded their fashion at New York City's Met Gala last night , Piers Morgan has dished out his own sartorial critiques - and not any of it was complimentary.
Returning to Good Morning Britain after his Bank Holiday weekend, Piers said of the charity Gala: "This is my favourite event of the year.
"This is when every big star in the world reveals what they're really like, which is really nuts .. a night full of loonies."

As pictures flashed up on screen, acid-tongue Piers had something to say about the wildest looks of the night from Harry Styles to Katy Perry to Lady Gaga.
Starting off with former One Direction star Harry - who arrived in a part-sheer Gucci jumpsuit, heels and a single pearl earing - Piers said: "Ooh have we got Harry in a blouse? Is he identifying as metrosexual these days?
"I mean, we shouldn't make this sexist, it can be camp but it can also be ridiculous."

Ignoring co-host Susanna Reid's look of disgust, Piers then turned his attention to Katy Perry who was dressed as a human chandelier.
"Look at Katy Perry," Piers scathed. "Did she stand in the middle of a table?" he asked.
Next up on Pier's hit list was model and actress Emily Ratajkowski.
"That's another one that looked preposterous. I mean look at the state of it. That is a weird belly button. If I was her I wouldn't show as much as she does. It's a weird mess.," he fired.
But Piers' left his harshest words for long-time enemy Kim Kardashian .

The reality star turned up the MET Gala in wet-look mini dress designed by Mugler.
"I thought Kim Kardashian was brilliant. She came as a large see-through spank. What are they called? Spanks. I mean look at that."
Turning to Kim's hubby Kanye West who was very casual, Piers continued: "I mean Kanye can't even look up. He's like, 'put something on love'. I'm not being funny ... what's camp about that?"
Piers has a difficult history with Kim, having clashed with her over her choice of selfie attire (or lack of) in the past.
In March this year Piers c alled her 'pathetic' over a proactive photoshoot.
"I think it's pathetic. If I was in a room with Kim now, I'd say, 'Put it all away, you're a mum to three kids - it's embarrassing’,” Piers grumbled in Closer magazine.
"Imagine being a mum and thinking, 'Ooh I must show my breasts and flash my bottom on social media'. So embarrassing - have some social decorum!” he blasted.
In 2016 the pair had a war of words over Twitter when Piers offered to buy Kim some clothes to help her cover up, but she retorted: "Never offer to buy a married woman clothes. That’s on some Ashley Madison type s**t."
