Piers Morgan has hit back at Jim Davidson after the comic's foul-mouthed rant about him went viral.
A furious Jim slammed Piers and his Good Morning Britain co-host Susanna Reid in an expletive-filled video where he criticised their comments about Boris Johnson's handling of the coronavirus pandemic, which has claimed the lives of more than 100,000 Brits.
Piers called upon Boris to step down from his job which did not sit well with Jim, 67.
The comedian filmed himself responding to Piers while sat in a dressing gown in his kitchen with his arms tightly crossed.
"I've had to come out of the front room this while watching Piers and Susanna, who's turned into Piers in a frock," he said - in the clip entitled, Piers Morgan wind your neck in!
"I can't believe at what I'm listening to," began Jim. "Talk about opportunist, Pier Morgan-ist-isms calling for the Prime Minister to resign because we've reached 100,000.
"They didn't call for him to resign in last week when we reached 98,000. It's just why are we so mad about figures? We had 100,000 people die.
"No one knew about this virus and Piers is saying, 'what did the Prime Minister do? He didn't go to his Cobra meetings'" he ranted.
Jim said he felt 'ashamed' to know Piers, after appearing on his Life Stories chat show in 2018.
"Piers, you make me so angry," he went on.
"You don't deserve to listen to my life story. You don't deserve to listen to anyone's life story, do you know why? Because you don't f***ing listen.
"And now you idiot, you just want to lay blame on the Prime Minister to make yourself look good.
"This is what this is all about, it's you wanting to look good. You don't look good, you look pathetic -and Susanna, so do you," he added.
"Shame on the pair of you. Just shame on you. Instead of trying to trip the Prime Minister over, why don't you do something to help."
Jim said he wasn't surprised politicians refused to appear on GMB.
He ended his video by revealing one of his close friends had died in the night and he didn't blame the Prime Minister for what happened.
"Piers I'm ashamed to even know you mate. [You] disgust me," he finished.
After Jim's clip went viral, Piers took to Twitter to respond to his fiery allegations.
"Hi Jim, Always good to hear your foul-mouthed, abusive, sexist, Boris-slathering views," he scathed.
"Sorry about your friend," Piers added.
It comes after Piers and Susanna were praised for their 'moving' GMB segment this week where they paid tribute to the 100,000 who had died from covid.
The UK has now become the first country in Europe to reach the grim death toll, with Boris Johnson saying in a press conference this week he is 'deeply sorry.'
