Piers Morgan has taken aim at “comically ridiculous” Chrissy Teigen after she waded into his Twitter spat with Little Mix and Ariana Grande.
Teigen jumped in to defend the singers after Morgan hit out at female singers using “sex to sell records”.
The US model tweeted: “Every time someone mentions Piers, his d*** gets another power boil and his nips cry tears of joy.”
Morgan accused Teigen of being a hypocrite and called her out for double standards.
“Thanks for the mention, @chrissyteigen,” he tweeted. “Unfortunately, coming from you it had the complete opposite effect.
“I laughed at this, because I find Ms Teigen comically ridiculous, but can you imagine the outrage if I tweeted something similar to a high profile woman?”
Teigen’s tweet came hours after he became embroiled in a Twitter spat with Grande and her mother Joan over his claims some female singers use “sex” and “nudity” to sell records.
He also targeted “hypocrite” Ellen DeGeneres for flashing up pictures of naked torsos in celebration of International Men’s Day.
Grande tweeted Piers, detailing her hopes he will find “other ways to go about making yourself relevant than to criticize young, beautiful, successful women for everything they do”.
He then invited her to join him on Monday morning’s Good Morning Britain to “settle this like mano-to-womano”.
Grande was defending fellow singer Jesy Nelson after she branded him a “silly t***” after he slammed Little Mix’s claim that stripping off for their new music video was a way to empower young fans and instil body positivity.
Morgan accused Nelson of “letting herself down” and invited her to discuss the feud on his ITV breakfast show.
Nelson posted a near-naked snap of herself hours later, sparking a furious response from the broadcaster who compared her to a “grim” advert on an adult dating website.
