Piers Morgan has taken aim at critics of Boris Johnson as the Prime Minister remains in intensive care battling coronavirus.
After it was announced he'd been taken to into St Thomas' Hospital in London on Sunday, 24 hours later it was confirmed that the PM had been taken into intensive care after needing oxygen to help with his breathing.
The news shocked the nation but some people took to social media to post tasteless tweets about the PM and these didn't go un-noticed by Good Morning Britain host Piers.
Not holding back, Piers ranted: "If you have nothing positive to say about Boris Johnson on here tonight, then shut the f*** up.
"The man is our Prime Minister & he is fighting for his life."
Prior to that tweet, the always outspoken presenter and journalist ordered Downing Street to 'stop lieing', posting: "Downing Street must now be 100% straight with the media & public re Boris's condition. No more lies.
"Britain is in a war & he is the Prime Minister. His health is thus a matter of paramount public interest. We must all hope & pray Boris comes through this."
As of Tuesday morning, it was reported that Johnson's condition was unchanged.
