Piers Morgan shares snap of his country mansion but celebs and fans spot the same thing

Since quitting Good Morning Britain, Piers Morgan has been spending a lot of time at home.

He recently moved from his Grade II listed townhouse in the exclusive London enclave of Kensington to his picture-perfect white mansion in the sleepy village of Newick, East Sussex.

Mr Morgan also owns a third home in the vibrant city of Los Angeles.

And with the good weather, Mr Morgan has been spending time in his sunny Sussex back garden.

Posting a picture of his "favourite breakfast spot in the world" on Saturday morning (April 18) to his 1.6 million Instagram followers, Mr Morgan showed off his huge garden, which even features an outdoor swimming pool.

But despite his outdoor breakfast spot looking very pleasant, Mr Morgan's celeb friends and his fans couldn't help but point out something else - the stained garden furniture, reports MyLondon.

Celebrity friend Vernon Kay commented jokingly on the post: "I’ll jet wash that patio for you for a glass of red [wine] and a cooked breakfast!"

Mr Morgan took his pal up on the offer saying "Done!".

Mr Kay was not the only one to point out the flaws of Mr Morgan's garden, as some fans also made cheeky comments about the wooden table and chairs.

One wrote: "Beautiful now get sander wood stain out and preserve that lovely table and chairs will look like new".

Another fan joked: "It is time you re-treat the table and chairs you have no excuse you have plenty of time on your hands".

Giving some advice to the star, another fan told Piers to "pressure wash the furniture then treat it".

Mr Morgan also posted a "heart-breaking picture" of the Queen over the weekend sitting alone at the funeral of her husband Prince Philip, writing: "The cruel separation and loneliness suffered by so many in this pandemic, now endured by the world’s most famous woman as she says goodbye to her husband of 73 years. Just devastating."
