Piers Morgan screams as he experiences childbirth pain and apologises to women

Piers Morgan was left screaming in agony on Good Morning Britain today as he tried out a childbirth simulator.

The 54-year-old presenter said that the simulator was an "eye-opener" and promised to never make another joke about childbirth pain.

Unable to take the pain, he demanded that the simulator was taken off and said that his respect for women had "gone through the roof".

Meanwhile the women in the studio gathered around to watch and couldn't help but laugh at Piers' reaction.

After the sensors were put on him, the power was dialed up to 21 and was shocked when he heard that 40 simulated real life contractions.

"That is already not comfortable," Piers said as Stephan, the machine operator, dialled up the simulator.

"This bloke likes his work way too much," Piers complained.

When it dialled up to 40, Piers began screaming and stood up.

"Take it off!" he exclaimed before the sensors were ripped off.

"To the women of Great Britain, I have to apologise," he said. "That was agony... my respect for women in childbirth has gone through the roof."

He added: "I'm never going to make any joke about childbirth again."
