Piers Morgan says he's 'done' with 'boring' Meghan and Harry - before slamming couple

Piers Morgan has declared that he is "done" with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle , branding them "boring" - moments before slamming them for being "disingenuous".

The 54-year-old presenter made the declaration as he began hosting Good Morning Britain today, prompting rolled eyes from co-host Susanna Reid.

The pair began by discussing rival presenter Dan Walker after Piers joked about his "weak" tea choice reflected him as a person.

Susanna exclaimed: "Poor Dan Walker. I think he was relieved yesterday when you spent most of the first half hour of the programme having a go at the Duke and Duchess of Sussex."

"Oh, well I'm done with them now," said Piers. "I'm actually bored with them now. Now she's doing her little photo calls for the paparazzi I'm really done with them."

As they aired a picture of Meghan carrying baby Archie and smiling as she took the dogs out for a walk, Piers said: "Good, someone's got what she wants. How long did it take her?

"What I find fascinating - and my last comment on this..."

An exasperated Susanna interrupted: "How would you rather she look?"

Piers went on to slam the couple (ITV)

"No, very happy for her, very happy for her," said Piers. "I wish Harry would smile, then you might think they're both happy about this."

Susanna said: "Harry's out there now."

Piers replied: "I know, he's perfect. The one thing he's clear [about] is that he's not walking away."

Charlotte Hawkins exclaimed: "You said you were done talking about this!"

Not by a long shot....

*Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV
