Piers Morgan says he's arranged to see two of his sons for the first time in 10 weeks amid lockdown

Piers Morgan has said he's going to see two of his sons for the first time in 10 weeks after the lockdown kept them apart.

The TV presenter, 55, joked that he'd employed one son as a cleaner and another as an estate agent so he's allowed to spend time with them.

But he didn't say which of his three sons - Spencer, 26, Stanley, 22, or Albert, 19 - he would be seeing.

The slightly relaxed lockdown rules mean you can spend time with one person from another household at a time, as long as you keep two metres between you.

And on Wednesday's Good Morning Britain Piers' co-host Susanna Reid asked him which of his sons he would be seeing first.

"I'm going to see both my sons," he said.

Susanna replied: "What? You're not allowed to see them at the same time Piers Morgan."

He explained: "Separate times, separate days. One son I've employed as my cleaner and the other son I'm employing as my part time estate agent.

"So that way I can see them both in houses. It's just common sense."

Piers is spending the coronavirus lockdown with his wife Celia and daughter Elise, eight.

His son Spencer jokingly told him to "stay away from us" after he complained at not being able to see all of his children.

Piers had tweeted: "I haven't seen two of my sons for 10 weeks. They live 10 minutes away, next to a large common.

"Am I allowed to go and see them, if I stay 2 metres away?

"The answer appears to be no, yet I can see thousands of strangers a day in my local park if I stay 2m away. Makes no sense.

Spencer told him: "No, stay away from us."
