A minister has not appeared on the popular breakfast programme since April.
The presenter, 55, previously accused Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his Cabinet of being “gutless little weasels” for not fielding members for questioning about the Covid-19 pandemic.
Last week reporter Nick Dixon had to ambush Health Secretary Matt Hancock in the street when he finished an interview with Sky News.
In a tweet this afternoon, Morgan said: “BREAKING: Just had a call from Downing Street. The 201-day Government boycott of @GMB is over & Health Secretary @MattHancock will be appearing on the show tomorrow morning.”
The move appears to have been triggered by the Downing Street exit of the Boris Johnson’s special advisor Dominic Cummings and fellow Vote Leave veteran Lee Cain as communications director.
Morgan’s co-host Susanna Reid said in an article yesterday: “The reasons why the Government won't appear are important because viewers want answers.
“On Good Morning Britain we have spoken to people whose mental health is being affected, whose physical health is being affected, whose lives and livelihoods have been directly or indirectly affected by Covid - they all want to know the Government's answers to our questions.
“That of course includes one of our own team, Kate Garraway, whose husband Derek is still suffering the effects after months in hospital.”

Morgan has been at loggerheads with Hancock since the start of the year.
A furious row between the pair sparked official Ofcom complaints in March as Morgan accused the minister of not taking coronavirus seriously.
