Piers Morgan's wife Celia pokes fun at 'house-husband' in Instagram snap

Piers Morgan has started his first full week without his job on Good Morning Britain - but wife Celia Walden is keeping him busy.

Celia poked fun at her 'house-husband' in a new Instagram snap after the 55-year-old dramatically quit his ITV role last week.

The announcement came hours after he stormed off the GMB set during a tense row with co-star Alex Beresford over comments he 'didn't believe' Meghan Markle following her Oprah interview.

On Friday he said he left GMB after refusing to apologise for 'disbelieving' Meghan's claims and that he has become "the latest ‘victim’ of the cancel culture."

However, journalist Celia is making the most of having her other half at home.

She sneakily snapped a photo of her husband hard at work giving the living room a hoover.

She cheekily captioned the snap: "I want it all done by the time I get back from work. Also, you missed a bit."

Piers then shared the photo to his Instagram story with a series of angry face emojis - so we know what he thought of that.

And followers rushed to leave comments.

"He could be the new male version of Mrs Hinch as a temporary job," wrote one.

Another joked: "Piers doing his chore to the tune I want to break free."

"Glad to see you are keeping him out of mischief," a third added.

A fourth said: "Brilliant Celia. Glad to see you are cracking the whip."
