Piers Morgan's wife Celia jokes she's desperate for him to get a job

Piers Morgan's wife isn't happy that he's been spending so much time moping around the house after he quit Good Morning Britain, it seems.

Celia Walden, 45, took to her Instagram account to post a picture of herself sunbathing with a giant pillow of Piers' face on Monday.

In the comments, one of her followers asked if she'd been enjoying having Piers, 56, around more, and she joked that hasn't.

In the snap, Celia wrapped her arm around the pillow, which had an extreme close-up shot of a smiling Piers on the front.

She lay on the grass and sported a white t-shirt, black bottoms and a pair of sunglasses.

Celia captioned the photo: "Nice little spot of sunbathing with my favourite pillow."

One fan commented: "I bet you are truly enjoying your extra time at home with Piers?"

She replied: "Because what we all really need is MORE time with our husbands."

Piers quit Good Morning Britain earlier this month after a huge backlash over his comments about Meghan Markle.

During her interview with Oprah Winfrey, Meghan made a string of shocking allegations against the Royal Family, including her claim that she was refused help when she suffered from suicidal thoughts.

But Piers said he didn't believe anything she'd said in the interview, saying on he show: "Who did you go to? What did they say to you? I'm sorry, I don't believe a word she said, Meghan Markle."

On GMB the next day he was confronted by Alex Beresford, who accused him of having a grudge against Meghan because she stopped being friends with him.

Piers then stormed out of the studio before returning after an advert break.

That same day, it was announced that Piers had quit.
