Piers Morgan has shared pictures showing him being mauled by a moggy and it prompted his wife Celia Walden to beg him to adopt the cat.
The former Good Morning Britain presenter took to Instagram to share snaps of little kitten Sid sinking his claws into his trousers.
Alongside the pictures, Piers wrote: "Meet Sid. He's had a fun morning attacking me."
Obviously enjoying her husband's predicament, Celia took to the comments to urge Piers give Sid a permanent home.
She wrote: "Please can we adopt him?"
Piers didn't reveal where the cat had come from or whether it was a stray, but it appeared to have made itself at home in the couple's lavish country pad in East Sussex.
Celia wasn't the only one who fell for the adorable feline, with Piers' pal Amanda Holden also commenting: "OMG... He's gorgeous."
Piers' fans joined in calls for the telly star to take Sid in, with one writing: "Yes you must [adopt him]...
"He has clearly chosen Piers as his human!!!"
Piers and Celia have been living full time at their mansion in London over the last year, but have finally been able to start spending more time at their home in the countryside.
The former GMB star was snapped relaxed by the swimming pool at the house during the warm weather this week after he previously moaned he'd been unable to enjoy either of his pools last year.
Piers owns a house in Beverly Hills as well as his country pile and had to watch in horror as friends and relatives used the pools while he remained stuck in the city for work.
The couple took the chance to throw a lavish party for Piers' dad Glynne at the house over the weekend to celebrate his 80th birthday.
Pictures shared online showed tables and chairs set up in the garden as guests tucked into meals and booze throughout the bash.
Piers was seen holding up a huge bottle of wine at the start of the party, and arm-wrestling with his sons in front of the family.
