Piers Morgan's wife admits she's lost her wedding ring and hasn't told him yet

Piers Morgan's wife has admitted that she's lost her wedding ring — but she hasn't told him yet.

Celia Walden, 45, took to her Instagram account earlier this month to share a picture of herself, and one of her followers spotted that something was missing from her hand.

After they pointed it out, Celia told the fan that she can't find the ring and urged them not to let her husband, 56, know.

In the snap, Celia was enjoying an extra large hot dog on Brighton Pier, where she'd spent the day with Piers.

She looked typically glam as she wolfed the snack down while wearing pink sunglasses and a green coat.

Celia captioned the post: "When Mr Sizzles on Brighton Pier asks if 'you want the normal or the XXL?' there's only ever going to be one answer."

One fan commented: "Wedding ring? Hot dog looks ace."

She replied: "I can't actually find it. But don't tell him.

"Good spot.."

But Piers didn't seem to have noticed the missing ring as he commented on the picture himself without mentioning it.

He cheekily wrote: "Why go for an XXL Pier Mr Sizzles when you've got an XXXL Piers Mr Sizzles at home??!"

Piers and Celia, who have been married since 2010, have been spending a lot more time together since he left Good Morning Britain.

He quit the ITV breakfast show after the channel received over 50,000 complaints about his comments about Meghan Markle, which included saying he didn't believe that she was refused help when she had suicidal thoughts.

The TV presenter refused to apologise and defended his right to free speech.
