Piers Morgan's three mansions as he makes £22m in a year

Piers Morgan is one of the most well-known - and controversial - television presenters with his strong views that saw him recently leave Good Morning Britain.

Over the years, he has been rewarded handsomely by broadcasters for his divisive opinions, presenting numerous programmes, including GMB, the Echo reports.

So, it's no surprise that his lengthy career as a journalist and presenter has earned him a lot of money.

He's made no secret of his wealth - which has been funded by his TV work on the likes of Britain's Got Talent, Pier Morgan's Life Stories and America's Got Talent, as he talks about his life.

The hosting gig at Good Morning Britain reportedly earned him around £1m a year - the same as his co-host Susanna Reid.

He is also said to have received a further £1.44m for presenting the Piers Morgan Tonight programme.

In 2017, he tweeted that he'd taken home £22m that year, the Mirror reports.

As well as his telly earnings, he has a portfolio of luxury properties across the globe, maintaining homes worth £8.9 million of homes in London, East Sussex and Los Angeles.

He and his wife Celia Walden live in a Grade II listed townhouse in Kensington, West London, with their daughter Elise Morgan, eight.

Piers bought the five-bedroom property from Celia's father, former Conservative MP George Walden, for £4m in 2019.

It has French windows and a private balcony and houses his art collection.

He also has a home in Newick, East Sussex, where average properties cost between £700,000 and £1.4 million.

A vast driveway leads to the secluded property, which has swimming pool in its grounds.

And then he has a five-bedroom property in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, reportedly worth around £4.2 million.

It has five bathrooms and an enormous pool and its own staff.
