Piers Morgan’s eldest son was rushed to hospital after a football injury left him covered in blood.
Spencer, 26, took to Twitter to share the gruesome injury as he lay on the hospital bed with a part his right leg taped up.
Sharing the image with his 34,000 followers, he tweeted: "Last time I showboat on the football pitch," showing his right leg covered in blood.
The wound was wrapped in a bandage to stop the blood from gushing out just under his knee.
Spencer was dressed in sports gear, as he was still wearing training shorts and a bright white trainer which had some blood on it.

In a separate snap, showing a closer picture of the wound, he penned: "Football is a hell of a game.
"Reckon I might need some stitches."
And Piers went on to share Spencer’s post with his own 7.1 million users, with both a fist pump and thumbs up emoji.
He wrote: “Commitment, son… I like it."
Gary Lineker's son George, 28, also responded, sarcastically writing: “We've started the year well.”

It comes as Piers threatened to cut his hunky sons out of his will if they dare to accept an offer to appear on Love Island .
The Good Morning Britain presenter gave the public warning on air as he let slip that one of his hunky sons is currently on holiday in South Africa - where the new series is being filmed.
Piers' co-host Susanna Reid teased him that one of his sons could be on their way into the villa too.

Piers is dad to Spencer, Stanley, 22, and Albert, 19, as well as daughter Elise, eight.
Susanna jokingly asked: "Has he gone to Cape Town to go on Love Island?"
But Piers fired back: "My sons get regularly approached for these shows but they know I'll write them out of the will if they go on."
