Piers Morgan's son has revealed the presenter has been sent death threats since quitting ITV's Good Morning Britain.
The TV star shocked the nation earlier this week as he walked away from hosting the show after six years.
The announcement came after Piers claimed he 'didn't believe' Meghan Markle's mental health struggles during her Oprah Winfrey interview.
His eldest son Spencer, 27, has now taken to Twitter to reveal his dad is now getting 'vile' death treats on social media over his departure.
"To be specific it's early teenage girls," he wrote.
"The ones who 'stan' stuff and have s**t like One Direction in their bio. Sending death threats etc, you name it. Poor kids - hope they get help."

It comes after Spencer initially tweeted: "The majority of people on here are too scared to go even the slightest bit against the grain. Thankfully people in real life are."
He followed it up an hour later with: "What's also become clear is it's the brainwashed young are the most vile and abusive on Team Woke. Their parents must save them."
Controversial Piers decided to leave GMB after Ofcom revealed his comments about Meghan had received more than 41,000 complaints.

During the show, which aired on Monday, he questioned her mental health struggles, saying: "I don't believe a word she says, Meghan Markle. I wouldn't believe a weather report if she read it.
"The fact she has expressed an onslaught against our Royal Family is contemptible."
Meanwhile, fans have started numerous petitions demanding his return to hosting duties.

They have since racked up more than 60,000 signatures - with many wanting him back for his 'common sense'.
Piers has also been backed by the likes of Katie Price, Sharon Osbourne, former Fox News star Megyn Kelly and journalist Jake Tapper since he quit.
