Piers Morgan ridicules Chrissy Teigen as she is 'keen to do Meghan-style Oprah interview'

Piers Morgan has mocked Chrissy Teigen after it was revealed that the television star was hoping to do a sit-down interview with Oprah Winfrey.

The 56-year-old former Good Morning Britain presenter, who has locked horns with Chrissy on previous occasions, did not hold back after it was revealed that Chrissy was hoping to follow in Meghan Markle's footsteps.

It comes as Chrissy faces a storm of bullying accusations after several historical tweets were unearthed in which she trolled people online.

Amid news that Chrissy wants to speak her truth in a sit-down with Oprah, Piers begged her to 'forget it'.

"Forget it luv. We’ve endured enough Oprah-enabled woke Pinocchios for one year…" he added alongside a laughing face emoji.

Piers' latest criticism came just one day after he called for Chrissy to be cancelled and branded the television star and model 'repulsive' following her recent behavior.

The combative host, who published anti-cancel culture book Wake Up last year, has also called for the cookbook author to be cancelled as it "couldn't happen to a nastier hypocritical bully."

In his latest furious Mail Online column, he said: "There's never been anything compassionate, empathetic or humane about Chrissy Teigen."

Earlier this week, it was revealed that Chrissy was in talks about landing an interview alongside Oprah to address the recent controversies.

According to Rob Shuter's Naughty But Nice podcast : "Chrissy is in talks with Oprah to do a Meghan Markle sit-down type interview and tell her truth."

The insider added: "Chrissy is a fighter and believes that she is such an excellent communicator that there isn’t a mess she can’t talk her way out of!"

"Every news outlet in the world has contacted Chrissy about getting her first on-camera interview, but Oprah is her first choice. If Oprah can forgive Chrissy, then so can the nation."

The Mirror has approached Chrissy's reps for comment on the recent talk show claims.

In recent days, Chrissy has broken her social media silence to pen a lengthy blog post in which she apologised for trolling people in the past.

It comes one month after the mum of two was slammed after old tweets surfaced in which she had told the American reality star Courtney Stodden to kill themselves in 2011.

Since then, several other tweets have emerged and it was reported Lindsay Lohan and Demi Lovato have also been targeted by the model.

Other social media users have also shared a post from Chrissy in 2018 where she criticised the contestants on the reality show America's Next Top Model.

Most recently, Project Runway star Michael Costello claimed that he had also been targeted by Chrissy in 2014.

Amid all the allegations, Chrissy has apologised profusely and vowed that she is no longer that person.
