Piers Morgan relaxes with his three sons on sunny family holiday to the Caribbean

Piers Morgan is one of the lucky ones currently abroad and enjoying a sunny holiday away.

The former Good Morning Britain presenter is in Antigua in the Caribbean with his three sons - Spencer, 28, Stanley, 24, and Bertie, 20 - for some much needed family time alongside his wife Celia Walden.

In one snap, Piers and his three sons sit around a table at the Sheer Rocks restaurant in Antigua.

"What a fantastic place," he wrote on Instagram.

"Incredible views, fabulous food, superb service. Lives up to all the award-winning hype. Thanks."

Piers - who is also father to a daughter named Elise - also shared a snap of him enjoying a boat trip on the beautiful Caribbean waters.

He posted a Vincent Van Gogh. quote alongside the photo, which read: "The heart of man is very much like the sea, it has its storms, it has its tides and in its depths it has its pearls too."

The presenter is staying at the Jumba Bay Island resort in Antigua.

"This may have to become my permanent office," he said as he posted a shot of the beautiful view.

His son Spencer has also been updating fans from their luxurious holiday abode.

"Things are going slightly better than my last trip to the caribbean in december," he wrote.

"Then again, that’s not saying much considering at this point I’d been transported to quarantine in a military base for three days after a dodgy positive test. Win some, lose some."

Piers recently battled coronavirus and earlier this month, he admitted he was still struggling with "shocking fatigue and little taste/smell" almost three weeks after his first symptoms.

"Day 18 since covid symptoms started and still have shocking fatigue & little taste/smell," he wrote on Twitter at the time.

"Anyone else who got virus after being fully vaccinated having same ‘journey’?"

Piers believed he caught the virus when he was watching England play in the Euros.

After he developed symotoms, which included a fever, cold sweats, coughing, sneezing and "strange aches", he took a lateral flow test that came back positive and then a PCR test confirmed the result.

The presenter famously walked away from his Good Morning Britain role after a row over his comments about Meghan Markle but despite his exit, it was recently revealed he is up for the TV Presenter of the Year award at the NTAs.

"Most amused to finally be nominated for TV Presenter of the Year at the ⁦ @OfficialNTAs - though could be a tad #awks for ITV if I win for my work on ⁦ @GMB," he wrote on Twitter as she acknowledge his nomination.

"Might have to pull a Brando and send Princess Pinocchio along to receive it on my behalf."
