Piers Morgan mocks I'm A Celebrity viewers over Jordan North Ofcom complaints

Piers Morgan has mocked I'm A Celebrity viewers after some complained to Ofcom over Jordan North.

The Radio 1 DJ's experience on the ITV reality series got off to a stomach churning start when he tackled his fear of heights before even stepping foot in the castle.

Five of the ten celebrities had to abseil down a cliff in order to rescue their kit for their first night in camp.

But Jordan couldn't quite cope and ended up throwing up - which didn't go down well with a few I'm A Celeb viewers.

The clip has reportedly been complained about over 70 times to the broadcasting watchdog and Piers was left perplexed as he hosted Tuesday's Good Morning Britain.

He began: "Who is Jordan North? It's had many complaints from Ofcom so we decided to run it again at 6:40am."

The TV host then questioned: "Why would anyone complain to Ofcom about someone puking? Who does that?

"Who says, 'I know what I'm going to do, I am gonna make a formal complaint to the television regulator that somebody vomited on television'.

"Somebody vomiting? Outrage, outrage!

"Who are these people? Who are you people who spend all your time complaining to Ofcom?"

But it is worth pointing out that more than 12 million people watched the launch show of the 20th series - the firs to ever be filmed in the UK.

So the complaints were very, very small. It did divide viewers though.

"When they showed Jordan being sick no thank you #ImACeleb," wrote one.

Another said: "From the moment Jordan was sick I think I knew he’s gonna win. #calledit #ImACeleb."

While a third added: "Mate I nearly vommed myself watching Jordan throw up."

I'm A Celebrity continues tonight at 9pm on ITV.
