Piers Morgan mocked over filthy state of garden furniture as he brags about view

Piers Morgan has been ruthlessly mocked over his garden furniture, with many of his followers begging him to wash it.

The former Good Morning Britain host, 56, took to his Instagram account over the weekend to post some pictures of his posh garden at his home in Newick, East Sussex, which has a dining area and pool.

But people were not impressed by the plush set-up as they said his table and chairs and patio area need a good scrub down.

In his snaps, Piers was making the most of the April sunshine by having his breakfast outside as he went through the Sunday papers.

His second photo showed off his swimming pool, which looked very inviting in the warm weather.

"My favourite breakfast spot in the world," he captioned the post.

He finished the caption with the hashtag #VillageLife.

But his garden was quickly picked apart by his followers, including Vernon Kay.

Vernon wrote: "I'll jet wash that patio for ya for a glass of red and a cooked breakfast!"

Another follower commented: "Beautiful now get sander wood stain out and preserve that lovely table and chairs will look like new."

"Pressure wash the furniture then treat it," another posted.

A third agreed: "All that time off, you could re stain your garden furniture."

Piers appears to be enjoying some time off after quitting Good Morning Britain.

He walked off the show after his comments about Meghan Markle, which included him saying he didn't believe she had suicidal thoughts, caused huge controversy.

Over 50,000 people complained, including Meghan herself, and thousands signed petitions to get him sacked.

Piers quit GMB just a day after he had the rant.
