Piers Morgan mocked by son for looking like Neil from the Inbetweeners in throwback snap

Piers Morgan was mocked by his son Spencer for looking like an Inbetweeners character in a throwback snap from his twenties.

The 55-year-old Good Morning Britain presenter shared the vintage picture on his social media.

In the throwback image, a young Piers Morgan grinned at the camera as he folded his arms wearing a pair of tiny shorts with lipstick kisses on them.

"Me at 20," Piers captioned the snap.

Moments after he posted the pic, his son Spencer, 26, shared the image and gave it a more fitting caption.

"Neil from the Inbetweeners," Spencer's new caption read.

Spencer's followers found the ridicule to be absolutely hilarious, and other chipped in with even more look-a-like jokes.

"Love to see him do his dance," wrote one follower.

"More Will from the inbetweeners," said another.

A third added: "I thought it was Zuckerberg lol."

Piers even re-tweeted his son's mockery for his 7.3 million fans to see.

Piers has otherwise filled his social media with messages regarding the coronavirus pandemic, as he attempted to hold the UK government accountable for the crisis.

The presenter's nostalgic picture also came just hours after he was forced to defend himself when he was accused of flouting self-distancing measures.

According to right-wing social media site Guido Fawkes, Piers was the country's 'biggest hypocrite' and shared a number of pictures where Piers socialised with friends.

Piers hit back and defended the pictures taken on March 10 on Twitter.

"Why was I hypocritical? The @WHO declared COVID-19 a global pandemic on March 11. From that moment I stopped attending mass gatherings & repeatedly challenged the Govt’s refusal to ban mass gatherings."
