Piers Morgan produced a horrific tee shot at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.
Sky Sports tweeted a clip of the shot and wrote: “Mind the windows, Piers.
“@piersmorgan experienced a moment to forget at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, sending his tee shot out of bounds and hitting the iconic hotel at St Andrews!”
“That could make the front pages tomorrow that one”, the commentator chuckled, before adding: “I think that was 406 or 408, wasn’t it?”
The red-faced former Good Morning Britain host could be heard saying: “What happened there?”
He then took another ball to quickly put the previous shot behind him and suggested: “The public want another.”
He did just that as the former Britain's Got Talent judge produced a much better shot.
Morgan posted his second shot on Twitter and penned: “If at first you don’t succeed… try again… and NAIL it.”
