Piers Morgan moans about lockdown weight gain as he compares himself to plump ornament

Piers Morgan has hilariously compared himself to a portly ornament as he laments over his lockdown weight gain.

The Good Morning Britain host, 55, suggested he may have overindulged while spending more time at home in quarantine in his latest Instagram post.

He jokingly referenced he has put on weight by sharing a photo of an ornament and laughing about his seemingly bad diet.

"Lockdown diet is turning me into my ornaments," the TV presenter wrote next to a photo of the stocky-looking object.

The ornament was a well-dressed man wearing a peculiar-looking hat and stripy outfit.

His hilarious statement left fans in heaps of laughter as they filled up the comments section.

Peter Andre simply left a laughing face and thumbs-up emoji in agreement with the GMB star.

Among the fans, one wrote: "This has put a smile on my face thank you mr Morgan x"

Piers later shared another post to wish his GMB co-star Charlotte Hawkins a happy birthday with a very sweary snap.

The hilarious snap showed Charlotte sticking her two fingers up at Piers while on-set at their GMB studio.

He wrote: "Happy Birthday to my fabulous colleague @charlottehawkins1 who was keen to socially distance from me long before it became mandatory.."

His fans were in hysterics as they left laughing faces underneath the photo.
